There is a past I cannot remember because it hurts too much. Yet, cruelly, the people in the photographs are always smiling. As Hyunbin approaches graduation from film school, he begins asking his family about the past, hoping to hear the other half of a story that was never recorded. As their conversations deepen, the family's joyful moments and painful memories gradually come back into focus. Hyunbin then decides to film and preserve the moments that each of them holds most dear. Through the act of making a film together, he hopes that they can forgive the past—and still find a way to love one another.
